Catch 'Em Young STEM Programme

Program:

Launched in FY 2025-26 across 35 schools in Thanjavur district, this programme was built to move STEM teaching past the textbook, using dedicated learning kits, educational resources and teacher-support materials designed for hands-on classroom use. Students work through demonstrations and practical exercises rather than passive instruction, and the 35 participating teachers are equipped with tools and methods to keep that approach going after the initial rollout, not just during a single workshop.

Measurable Outcomes:

The programme reaches 1,000 students and 35 teachers directly, with more than 3,500 family and community members benefiting indirectly. Participating students are showing stronger analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, along with growing curiosity toward science and technology as subjects worth pursuing further.
