Anjali Kisan's house ran on uncertain money. Her father's health kept him from steady work. Her brother carried what he could on a daily wage at the JSW factory. She finished her education anyway, learned basic computer skills, and then found what most young women in Sripura find: no job waiting on the other side of a degree.

She'd watched other women in her village build small businesses from home and thought: that, then. Three months of sewing training gave her the skill. What it didn't give her was a sewing machine, or anyone who could lend her the money for one.

That's where it stalled, until she heard about a 10-day Entrepreneurship Development Programme run by Epsilon Foundation with Magic Bus, held at the Community Hall in Sripura. Business planning, cashbooks. ,marketing, packaging, branding; she learnt the works taught by three trainers, over full days, with meals included so no one had to choose between attending and eating.

Anjali left with more than a sewing machine. She left with a plan, and the confidence to execute it. She's building her tailoring business from home now, one client at a time, closer than she's ever been to the independence she went looking for.
