Program:

An ambulance now serves Sripura Gram Panchayat, run in partnership with a local foundation - covering accident cases, critical illness, pregnancies in labour, and referrals to the district hospital in Jharsuguda when a case needs more than the local health centre can offer. In a rural setting, this is less about convenience and more about arithmetic: the difference between a timely ambulance ride and someone trying to arrange transport themselves, at the worst possible moment, is often the difference in outcome. It runs on call, every day, for a panchayat that had no dedicated emergency transport before this.
