Eye camps across Sripura Gram Panchayat did two things at once: screened residents for vision problems, and handed out free prescription spectacles on the spot rather than sending people away with a diagnosis and no way to act on it. Qualified eye care professionals ran full examinations - checking for refractive errors, cataracts and other common conditions - with senior citizens, women and children prioritised through the queue.

Over 3,000 villagers have been reached so far, many of whom hadn't had their eyes checked in years simply because the nearest specialist was too far, or the cost too high, to justify a special trip.
