Mobile & Outreach Health Services

Location:

Ballari, Karnataka

Years Active

FY 2025–26

Lives Impacted:

24,984 villagers

Partner:

HelpAge India

Program:

A Mobile Health Unit runs health camps across 14 villages around Ballari, bringing general consultations, screening and medicine distribution directly to communities that would otherwise need to travel for basic care. The camps are structured to catch problems early rather than wait for a crisis: routine screening for non-communicable diseases like diabetes, hypertension and anaemia sits alongside general treatment, with a specific focus on maternal and child health.

24,984 people have been reached across the 14 villages, run in partnership with HelpAge India. That scale puts this among the larger interventions in the Karnataka portfolio, despite being structured as a rolling camp model rather than fixed infrastructure.
