Program:

A door-to-door health assessment moved through 15 villages in the DIZ area, covering 661 households and reaching 2,648 people - asking about respiratory symptoms, TB risk factors, living conditions, and whether people even knew where to go if they suspected something was wrong. That baseline then shaped targeted awareness campaigns: what TB looks like early, why treatment adherence matters, and why hiding a diagnosis usually makes things worse, not better. It's not a dramatic intervention, but it's the groundwork that has to happen before any treatment programme can actually reach the people who need it.
