One Scooter, Zero Emissions

Program:

Karnataka's District Industries Centre, a government body supporting industrial development and entrepreneurship, now runs its field visits and outreach on an electric scooter instead of a conventional fuel-based vehicle, funded through this FY 2025-26 programme. It's a modest, single-institution intervention by design, meant to demonstrate what clean mobility adoption looks like inside a public system rather than to reach a large population directly.

Measurable Outcomes:

1 government institution equipped directly, with 500+ people reached indirectly through the institution's ongoing field and outreach work. The Foundation's own documentation describes this as modest in scale; its value is as a working example other institutions can point to, not as a high-volume intervention.
