From Classroom to Career

In partnership with Magic Bus, this programme works across Jharsuguda and Rengali blocks to help adolescents build a real pathway from school into work, not just a certificate at the end of a course. The curriculum covers career guidance, life-skills education, mentoring, academic support and training in communication, leadership, problem-solving and digital literacy, treating employability as a set of skills that needs deliberate building rather than something students pick up on their own. More than 2,000 adolescents are engaged across both blocks. The programme also carries an explicit focus on gender inclusion, aiming to keep girls in the pipeline through to actual livelihood outcomes, not just through to programme completion.
