Years Active

FY 2025–Present

Lives Impacted:

Partner:

WFP Trust for India

Program:

Rising food insecurity and economic pressure make it harder for low-income households to reliably access adequate nutrition, particularly during financial shocks. This FY 2025 programme addresses that through a technology-enabled Grain ATM at Satellite Hospital, Mangal Bazar, Jharsuguda, letting eligible families access food grains through an automated, transparent distribution system rather than relying on manual queues and discretion.

Measurable Outcomes:

500+ families are expected to benefit directly, with 2,000+ reached indirectly. Beyond straightforward food distribution, the programme is also building nutrition awareness and healthy dietary practice into its community engagement, treating food security as a starting point rather than the entire intervention.
