A Court of Their Own

Program:

Students in Keonjhar had no dedicated sports infrastructure at their school before this FY 2024-25 programme built a multipurpose sports court and cricket practice facility on campus. The absence wasn't trivial: without safe, dedicated space, regular physical training and organised sport simply weren't happening for students in the surrounding rural communities.

Measurable Outcomes:

More than 320 students now train and compete on the new facility regularly, with 1,000+ community members also using it for local sporting and youth engagement activities. The infrastructure has created a genuine platform for athletic development that didn't exist in the school before.
